ANNUAL ELECTION

JAY FIRE DISTRICT

December 9, 2025

 

Please take notice that the annual election of the Jay Fire District will take place on Tuesday December 9, 2025. The polls will be open between the hours of 6:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m. at the Jay Fire House located at 13029 Route 9N, Jay, New York, for the purpose of electing:

 

One (1) Fire Commissioner for a 5-year term, commencing January 1, 2026, and ending December 31, 2030.

 

Candidates for Fire District office must submit their name and intended office to the Fire District Secretary, Deborah Boyce, P. O. Box 183, Jay, New York 12941, no later than November 30, 2025

 

All residents of the Jay Fire District who are registered to with the Essex County Board of Elections by November 21, 2025 will be eligible to vote.
